Ministry of Foreign Affairs Statement - Entry Procedures

In accordance with the high instructions of the President of the Republic, concerned with the full consideration of the concerns of members of the national community established abroad, and with a view to facilitating their procedures for entering the national territory and returning to their usual residences, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs our citizens established abroad and holders of valid foreign passports that they are authorized, exceptionally and until December 31, 2025, to enter and leave the national territory without first obtaining a visa, subject to the use of the same documents upon entry and exit, and this in two cases.

This is one of the following two cases:

- The presentation of a valid foreign passport accompanied by an electronic biometric national identity document, even if the latter has expired.

- The presentation of a valid foreign passport with a biometric Algerian passport, even if the latter has expired.
