Celebrating National Day of Memory May 8, 1945-2024

Under the slogan “A memorable day...a desired celebration,” the Algerian embassy in Kuala Lumpur commemorated the National Day of Remembrance commemorating the massacres of May 8, 1945.
On this occasion, the national flag was raised at the embassy headquarters, the national anthem was listened to, and the reading of al Fatiha was read, out of respect for the souls of the righteous martyrs.
His Excellency Ambassador Mr. AbdelHafid Bonnour also delivered a speech in which he highlighted the historical importance of these events and their major role in preparing for the outbreak of the victorious liberation revolution, stressing the need to continue efforts to preserve and strengthen national sovereignty.
