Embassy of Algeria in Kuala Lumpur Showcases Algerian Cultural Heritage at Temasya Warisan Pahang

The Embassy of Algeria in Kuala Lumpur participated today, 4 September 2026, in the Temasya Warisan Pahang held in Pahang, as part of the African Heritage Pavilion, in the presence of Her Royal Highness the Queen of Pahang, who graciously visited the Algerian pavilion.

During her visit, H.E. Mr. Abdelhafid Bounour, Ambassador of Algeria to Malaysia, presented an overview of the various aspects of Algerian cultural heritage showcased at the pavilion, including traditional Algerian attire, traditional sweets, as well as a selection of books and publications highlighting Algeria’s rich history, culture and heritage.

This participation reflects the Embassy’s efforts to promote Algerian cultural heritage and strengthen cultural exchange between Algeria and Malaysia, further contributing to the longstanding bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
