Mr.Attaf holds bilateral talks with his Uruguayan counterpart

Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held talks on Thursday in Kuala Lumpur with Uruguay’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mario Lubetkin.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of a ceremony marking Algeria and Uruguay’s accession to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia.

During the discussions, the two ministers explored prospects for strengthening economic cooperation between their countries, in line with their strong political relations, particularly by encouraging interactions and exchanges between business communities from both nations.

They also exchanged views and analyses on the current situation in their respective regional contexts.
