Mr.Attaf holds bilateral talks with his Vietnamese counterpart

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held Thursday in Kuala Lumpur bilateral talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Bui Thanh Son.

The meeting took place following other bilateral meetings held on the sidelines of his participation in the ceremony of Algeria’s accession to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia.

This meeting allowed to review different aspects of the cooperation relations and traditional friendship between Algeria and Vietnam” and to “examine ways to elevate them towards broader perspectives, as part of preparations for upcoming bilateral events.

In this respect, the two parties agreed on “the need to speed up the completion of negotiations on draft agreements currently under review and to continue joint efforts aimed at boosting partnership in priority economic sectors such as energy, mining, industry, agriculture and pharmaceuticals
