Mr. Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, held a telephone conversation with Mr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The call provided an opportunity for the two ministers to continue consultations and coordination regarding a range of bilateral, regional, and international issues.
In this regard, both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining the positive momentum characterizing the partnership between Algeria and Egypt, within the framework of efforts to implement the outcomes of the ninth session of the Joint High Committee, particularly in the economic sectors.
At the multilateral level, the ministers discussed the current situation in the Arab and African regions, focusing in particular on the latest developments regarding the Palestinian cause, as well as the situations in the Gulf, Sudan, Libya, and the Sahel-Saharan region.
