H.E. Mr. Abdelhafid Bounour, Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Malaysia, participated today in the promotion reception for Malaysia’s re-election to the Council of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) 2027-2030.

On the sidelines of the event, H.E. the Ambassador met with H.E. Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communications of Malaysia. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on a number of matters of common interest, particularly in the field of telecommunications and information and communication technologies (ICTs), as well as ways to further strengthen cooperation and coordination between Algeria and Malaysia in this field.
