Driving Qualification Certificate of Competency

As part of the Government program aiming at modernizing and digitalizing public administration, the Embassy of Algeria in Kuala Lumpur has the honor to inform the Algerian community residing in Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines, who are registered at its consular section, that a new procedure has come into force for the issuance of the Driving Qualification Certificate of Competency, applied for by our fellow countrymen living abroad.

This application, similar to the online application for the 12S Birth Certificate, allows nationals to fill their application for the Driving Qualification Certificate of Competency, Via the Link

Latter, the document will be issued to applicants by the Embassy.

To apply for the Driving Qualification Certificate of Competency, the applicant must be a holder of valid Algerian driving license, and residing in a foreign country. The procedure to apply and retrieve it is as follows:

-Creation of an account on the website of the Ministry of Interior,

-Once the account activated, the applicant can file his application via a digital form.

-The application is instantly received by the Wilaya that issued the driving license, which  processes it immediately, after data verification.

-This certificate is then generated and digitally transmitted to the diplomatic or consular missions indicated by the applicant for the collection of his document.

-This certificate is edited and signed by the embassy's consular services.

-On collection, the applicant shall present the application receipt printed or downloaded on an electronic support and shall give prove of his identity and residence status.
